Holly Newson is a warm and inquisitive presenter who’s the perfect mix of fun, reliable and kind. She’s all about exploration – fascinated by people, places, and opinions.
She is the charts expert on Graham Norton’s Book Club podcast, the host of long-running and audience favourite chat show Audible Sessions, a documentary presenter and creator, and is currently the face of Audible’s YouTube channel.
Holly won at the Edinburgh TV Festival New Voice Awards 2024 for presenting.
You don’t get many people more happy and comfortable talking about complex topics than Holly. She’ll be the first to invite conversation about LGBTQ+ lives, get deep into feminism, or dive headfirst into grief and mental health. What’s special is that she never loses her joy and empathy. This makes her perfect for lighter subjects too, be that crafting, books, social history, whisky, or sleep science (yes, she’s presented and interviewed about all of these!). She also enjoys making comedians laugh!
Over the last six years she has interviewed actors the likes of Julie Andrews, Hugh Bonneville and Minnie Driver; musicians such as Jarvis Cocker, Roger Daltrey and Gary Barlow; sportspeople including Ben Stokes, Geraint Thomas and Jenson Button; TV stars like Jonathan Van Ness, Louis Theroux, and Ant & Dec; comedians such as Katherine Ryan, Tom Allen and Lenny Henry; and influencers including Candice Brathwaite, Dani Dyer and Emily Ratajkowski. The list goes on for another 300 authors, actors, comedians, sportspeople, musicians and more.
She has also hosted live panel and interview events with personalities including Jess Phillips MP and Caitlin Moran.
Holly’s happy places are on camera or mic, making and drawing things, and out hiking or kayaking in the great outdoors. She is also a podcast executive producer and an experienced video producer.
